{"id":399,"date":"2011-07-30T15:58:39","date_gmt":"2011-07-30T15:58:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/miguelpdl.com\/weblog\/?p=399"},"modified":"2011-07-30T16:37:38","modified_gmt":"2011-07-30T16:37:38","slug":"first-running-assessment-before-training-for-10km-race","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/miguelpdl.com\/weblog\/first-running-assessment-before-training-for-10km-race\/","title":{"rendered":"First running assessment before training for 10km race"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve been running this past year or so without a specific goal in mind and so I spotted this<a href=\"http:\/\/miguelpdl.com\/yourls\/58\"> Kilkenny Half Marathon \/ 10km<\/a> for Sept 18 2011 and I thought what the hell I&#8217;ll go for it.<\/p>\n<p>Signed up during the week and then I though how exactly do I train for a 10km run? What time should I aim for? Should I just look to finish the damn thing!<\/p>\n<p>I have used <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smartrunner.com\">Smartrunner<\/a> for a good while now, it&#8217;s good for recording runs but it hasn&#8217;t got a training scheme built into it.
