Well one of the items we&#8217;re going to have to look at is &#8216;How&#8217; people will use the internet in the future.<br \/>\nWell others have tried to predict future technologies and the next couple of videos are not a bad attempt.<br \/>\nFrom 1967 the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Philco\">Philco-Ford Corporation<\/a> released the following video which holds some predictions for home computer use in 1999.<\/p>\n<p>Now I must say this isn&#8217;t a bad attempt, and in looking at it, it may be too accurate, but the folks over at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boingboing.net\/2007\/09\/10\/1966-prediction-of-h.html\">Boing Boing<\/a> seem to confirm that it was a true release.<br \/>\nAnd Apple with all it&#8217;s latest iPod gadet releases have this <a href=\"http:\/\/video.google.com\/videoplay?docid=-5144094928842683632\">FutureShock<\/a> from 1987<br \/>\n<object width=\"425\" height=\"350\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/3WdS4TscWH8\"><\/param><param name=\"wmode\" value=\"transparent\"><\/param><\/object><br \/>\nBoth these concept videos nearly hit the mark, while maybe a little off on the social aspects of &#8216;their&#8217; tomorrow, and while overall we&#8217;re not quite in that future world, the point is we must imagine &#8216;again&#8217; before we can deliver.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Seriously can we design the Future Internet.
